Its holidays now for the kids that are schooling. I miss being a student sometimes. I have just completed to update the LEAPs records for certain CCAs. So use my free time to blog. Just celebrated the teachers's day celebration at Park Royal Hotel. It is pretty fun... Though i never eat much as i chose not to take on meat...hehe
The theme was "Movie" I thought of acting one character, "Sex in the City". Marinna Hobbes but then my sis asked me to dress like alvin the chipmunk. haha... its sooo funny ya.
Alot of teachers rent the costumes at around 50 to 120 bucks. Exp sia... But its the experience and maddest, ppl relished. If they would ask me to join them to rent I think I would rent the alvin and the chipmunk. whaha..
Tomorrow, will left me in GO with Mdm Hairoon alone. As the CSO went for meeting... whaha
Nvm, I can do my work better as no-one to disturb me. Last Sat suppose to go to SIT Alumni in RP. But was caught up in my work. I went to revamp the excel to capture the LEAPs records for the students.
One of the teacher, Mickael ask if i would like to join the students to Cambodia this coming Nov. I would very much like to go but then I think i need to rush alot of school thingy. The rollover for the following year.. Hope there will be an angel along in this school to guide me with it.
When term 4 starts, which is next week, I think it will be very hectic as there are many exams going on. " N and O level". The last day of school would be 23th of Oct. By then I have to do up the MFA for the three group of students, going "Cambodia" , "Perth", "Shanghai" haha... cool right they are going overseas. While I stayed in SG...
Its okie, i shall plan to clear my leave next year and see which country i going too.. ;)
Last sun, zy and i brought my sis along to RSAF Open hse 2008 at Paya Leba Air force. It is an eye -opening for me. Get to do the flight simulation and get to know SG better, the tag [ Remove before flight ], it is use to ensure there is checking before every flight. This is very crucial procedures..
okie, i shall stop here. Update more in future... btw, i chose this theme is becoz i am a fanz of coffee. I need coffee every morning if not I will fall asleep. whahah

Tuesday Blues...

Another week had passed and teachers' day is coming soon. Our school celebrated Teachers' Day at park Royal Hotel. So it is gonna be another half day hehe...
Looking forward to that day too.. Later I will be doing the last session of the Inline skating with the students.

First week of School!

Dear blog and readers,

It’s been a long time since I posted about anything about my life. =)

First week of school has already started. I have been labelled as a mugger by my friends in NUS. I admitted that I am a mugger but I’m not a hardcore one ok?! I’m just someone who is so used to the RP system of 8.30pm to 4.30pm study timings that I just HAD TO study. I believe my ex-classmate from RP, Michelle, is also mugging almost every day. It seems she is sleeping later than me and even taking up a string instrument to. She is more hardcore. Lol! Best of luck to her!

Modules I took this semester are:

MA1301 (Introductory Mathematics) – Lecturer is cool. Content is a bit difficult but the lecturer help us in 1 way or another.

CS1101 (Programming Methodology) – Learning java from level 0. I think the lecturer it’s too good. Keep repeating for students who came in late and help to close the door. I HAVE NEVER SEEN such thing in my life. (Poor Aaron =x)Well, trying to unlearn my bad habits of programming and cultivate good habits and skills.

CS1105 (Computer and Society) – To my horror, it’s almost like my professional profiling – all about ICT. [Sighs] However, it’s a good module to learn about how ICT impact us and etc.

ET1000 (English for academic purposes) – English lesson, I haven’t had any lectures or tutorials on it yet, will tell you more about it next week. =)

SSA2209 (Singapore Government and Politics) – The MOST INTERESTING module of all!!! About how the government works and etc. Shall not talk so much about PAP governing but I understand why PAP did what they did. Don’t blame them for the ERP, education etc. Take this module to understand what I mean.

CCAs I joined? I joined SAVE (Student Against Violation of the Earth) as a IT personnel (hopefully I get the position) help website stuff. =) Maybe joining Campus Crusade for Christ as there are not big of an open cell at school of computing. That reminds me that I have to do something for RP open cell also.

I’m still deciding on how to plan my 4 years in NUS, my internships and modules to take. =)

Istana Open house 2008

Last Sunday, I went to Istana with dear and ping. Its an exploring trip for me ya. I have uploaded the video. Pls feel free to view. Tmr will be Singapore 43th Bday. And also our first anniversary..٩(๏๏)۶ ٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶
Time really files ya. I still remember that at the period time I am still doing Sunshine. Now, become a CCPE in a school. I should seriously consider about my future ya. Should I go for NIE? I have been thinking this question all this while. I am just afraid that I might not like teaching. But sometimes I really like it.Contradicting ya. The time where I like was when I shared my experience and knowledge to the students. all their eyes looks at me. At time, I feel really great. Its okie, melon, you will know what you like de. Trust yourself.....
Once again, Happy Birthday Singapore and Happy 1st Anniversary ٩(๏๏)۶ ٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶

After the fifth attempt of the climbs I managed to reach the submit :)
It is realli heartening. As I have climb to the top for 2 walls. The past few climbs I did not manage to reach the top. As i know there will be time for me to try again. But on my last climb, i told myself " You'll either break it or make it " and I chose to believe in myself that I can do it, by using more leg force instead of the hands energy. ;) It is really a tough exercise but with more practices it will be not tough anymore.

Whooa.. It was a fruitful 21st bday on the 21st of july. I loved the surprises that you had for me, Ballons, Zoo, Fish Spa ,HarbourWater Tour [High Tea] & The Singapore Flyer and the dinner @ C.H.I.J.M.E.S. Its really fun ya. I can use merely use this word to describe "Love it" muackx haha..

I woken up at 720am sharp and gotten myself ready at 9am. Just then, dear called me and told me that he forgotten to bring me the presents he prepared for me will passed me the next day. Upon hearing that was feeling abit upset ya.. but when i walked out of my house. I heard a boom sounds. It was Rongxuan who hold onto the bday gift & the 3 big balloons... haha. It was indeed shocking to me.
This is the pic of the bday ballons. I took the 21st balloon with me throughout the day, planning to let go the balloon into the air after making a wish on it. hehe but in the end i made my 21 wishes in KUSU Island.. ;) nice though...

Oya, I forgotten to add on in the previous blog that I am not throwing a party for my 21st bday but then I am celebrating still. Just with my bf :) Thx dear, for taking leave for me too. Muackx. No idea of what the plans he will have for me too. But think will be a special day for me. ;)
Tomorrow mornin, i will be goin to my tutee's house to give him tuition. And in the noon, I need to go to Toa Payoh hub to help out with the SYF Heartland Performance which is from 4pm to 5pm. Do join us at this weekend and relish the performances by the students in North Zone.

Countdown to my 21st B'day

3 days more I will be turning 21.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME ;)

I wont be throwing any party though, due to the time constraint..
But i will be taking leave on Monday. ;)Thus, i managed to escaped from the school celebrations of the Racial Harmony Day. We need put on the ethical costumes if we are in school.

The bordering gym is indeed a place that kids love to go there as it is all air-conditioned. I got a hard time controlling them over there. They were behaving like monkeys, climbing up and down.. sometimes I have been thinking do I realli relish teachin or what is my ideal career in mind...

At this point of time in life, what i can say is, I am still searching for what i really wanted. As in what is my likes and dislikes. But given a chance to be in AISS. I will strive to do my best and bring a difference to the school.
I feel happy is becoz, before going into the line of teaching field. I can explore what is it like to become a teacher and what the overall job scope. This is a good opportunity though. Till now, I feel that being a teacher it is really stressing at times. Why i say so is becoz when teaching the class halfway, the P or VP will pass by the class and sit in the class to see how is the teacher coping with the students.
I have told some teachers that maybe i would like to sit in for their class to see how they teach their students. Try to learn a little skills from them before i go to NIE. This is my plan. But i know it might change as time goes by.

Right now, my short term plan is to work as a CCPE with Educare Services about 1.5 year (Plus)(Minus) then i proceed to NIE. By then it will be 2010, i thought of teaching Mathematics and Physical Education. Maybe I will start of in a Primary school. But then maybe i continue my career over with educare ;) If i were to continue my career over at Educare. I will want to become at least a Senior CCPE or a Assistant Zone Manager. I do not want to continue my routine in a same way everyday. It will bored me out. -__-!
As for my studies, I do not intend to study for the time being. I wanted to gain some job experience first. Then continued my education. Though, i know that alot of ppl told me that, if one got a long period did not study. it will somehow be differ cult to get back into the study mood.

Seriously speaking I feel that studying all in need would be self-discipline, If one discipline himself/herself to study. Set aside some hours to study. It should not be much a problem ya..

okie, I got to go to continue the verification of Cert. for the 4E5Ns students.
