why no windows media

Why

you know, at times i just don't understand why things are the way they are!?

take for example, the Democratic Convention, it detected that Microsoft Silverlight has been installed, but I'm baffled why no Windows Media Player support, and I have to download another player? C'mon!

well, i supposed since there's the network, they probably have to remain neutral and not support any particular player, but then, why Silverlight!? anyway...

so, i turn to ... Youtube!

today we only spent 2 hours looking for a safe place to live ...so i decided to park after work and searching i went on a ride to the shop to spend 10 minutes sawing a clothspin into a forked shape and dipping it in red and glueing it on with a pre drilled nail ...then i rode back home to take a shower cause we dont have a bathtub here just a shower

came across a post and downloaded a leaked WLM beta, Version 2009 (Build 14.0.3921.717)...

in the conversation window, the display picture has been moved to the left...

and instead of just having groups of your contacts, there is now a "Favorites" ...

this art was built during 5 weeks without hot water 3 power outages and ilegal towing it symbolizes my frustrations liveing here ...i spent 5 minutes today after a 2 mile bike ride putting in a forked tounge i will add another forked tounge next time i stop by if i even have time as i must find a home that is not threatining or frustrating to live

Some of the MOO Crew are heading down to Brighton tomorrow, for dConstruct. It's a one day conference - with a great line up - which we're all looking forward to.

Speakers aside, it's a very sociable conference - and we're looking forward to meeting new people there too. If you spot any of us, do come and say hello - and give us a card, if you have one!

We've seen a few orders whizzing through in the last few weeks, which we'd like to see in real life.
