Korokke Attempt!
Okay. After I came back with mom from the supermart, it was my first attempt at Korokke (Croquette) but this time mom helped me with it because I'm a slow worker! xD So she helped to chop the onions and saute it with the minced pork while I prepared the potato and the rest are up to me to mash, mix, dip and fry. Finally, it ended up like what you see in the photo above. :] It's not suppose to be in that shape though but I'm not good at shaping things so I rolled everything up into a ball, easier to handle that way.
It taste great for the first attempt! And goes with Mayonnaise well too if you wish. I just lacked some pork and seasoning salt only.
Just munch down 3, 4 of it and you're full!
So, not unless you're tempted to eat Korokke or you want it for a buffet or party then should you attempt it because it's really a messy, sticky process!
I wish hubby is here to try this. I bet he will gobble those up if he haven't had his lunch yet. I'll most certainly pack it nicely with Mayonnaise on the side and probably slip in his favorite coldcuts as well to go with. Drinks... hmmm... plain water is fine, he can get it over there! =) Well.. those tasty korokke will go down the tummy of my family members for the time being! Hubby's turn will come soon once we get together.
I'm glad I've got all the time I have right now to think about doing such thing. Probably I'll treat it as a training camp before becoming someone's wife! :S At least, making sure I won't burn down hubby's kitchen or being a kitchen-barred wife or making non-edibles and cause him to go to the doctor often for food poisoning! :(
