What do you find interesting or unique about your family history?

Unique.., huh? Hmm... pap mentioned before that our family used to be rich. :) Well-to-do I'd say.. and if we were to stay that way, our family will probably be close to the peranakan community I believe.

Then... we became totally poor, that was when pap was still a kiddo. Great-grandma used to be a rich woman that really sat on sedan whenever she goes. Her family isn't rich but her husband is but.. she was a gambler and she gambled everything away! :D How nice of her, isn't it?

Oh yea, unique? Hmmm.. I guess I really do feel so if I say we're a peranakan family other than that, I can only say my family history is pretty shitty!

The night tonight is a little lonely... Ston went back to camp, my parents are asleep, bigbro went out, the TV is turned off and I'm alone at my workdesk, enjoying the peaceful moment I seldom get. Sometimes, just being alone does bring chills up my spine, sometimes I just can't help imagine if one day I'm all alone. Sometimes.. sometimes..

It's been a while since I sat in my workspace, quietly, concentrating on graphics work (not counting the time I was helping Min out, that was a little crappy). It felt just like being in Ben's class once again, nostalgic.

Shi Jin gave me the required details this afternoon. I managed to figure out the mess in the documents and spent the whole late afternoon working out on just the flyer. :/ Ai~yaya, I'm such a slow worker. With no idea in mind, I practically placed my faith on fonts to bring the flavour out from the design (that's not nice, I know) and downloaded over 11+ fonts from the net, heh.

Like usual, whenever I work on something, say graphic, I'm impressed with, I'll produce several results of the same thing for my "client" to choose. So, I ended up with like 5 results of just the flyer's design and my brain was totally burnt out in the end. I wonder if I can still do up the poster tonight? Hmm..

As I work, I realized I can only do well in graphics if I'm doing it for friends or myself... provided I'm interested in the idea as well. Ah! Can I keep this design and put it as my portfolio? :p

Today, I was hugging on to the new bag again. I guess I'm loving it. :)

I still love the idea of getting items by mail though! :D And.. since I've got the bag now, it means everything is settled and I can focus my brain on school.

This morning, I couldn't help wasting a few pieces of paper. I was trying to figure out how to fold a gift bag, staring at a real paper bag for quite a while, the thought just kept on going around and round my brain. Yea, not using the brain to think for a long while makes it stale.

I heard something new and shocking too! My parents are thinking that bigbro got a girlfriend but I totally don't feel alright about it. I wonder why? But when they talked about bigbro, their expressions was something I never expect... they were so calm about it. How come?!?! Mom actually found it alright... and I thought she will get mad about it.

There was a letter for pap today as well and it stated that the payment had been made to Forest Print's account but still the status down at Forest Print is under pending. Oh dear, oh dear... I hope they noticed it soon and send it to me~!

I went out with ZJ today since she haven't got Sylvia any gift yet, I wanted to get greeting cards. We ate over at SP for lunch and I spent just $2 on Honey Chicken Cutlet, wayyyy cheaper than food in RP! Then, we went up the building, towards the office to look for her lecturer. Oh, it was a great conversation with her lecturer even though I am not a student there but the location we were standing and chatting at was great. That level was so windy, I was enjoying the breeze.

After the conversation, we headed towards CityHall and shopped for a while, quite a long while really. I was afraid to spend money today which was why I can't help myself looking at the price tag first on every single item I had set my eyes on but when it comes to food, I did not whine to myself for spending. Thus, today's damage was mostly food and the thing I want to get. :)

"Not comfortable" today. Really, "not comfortable" today. I'd consider what I felt today as the worse one I ever felt in my whole life, probably because I don't have any important commitment at the moment but definitely, it was "not comfortable" today. :( Physically, "not comfortable".

I went out in the evening to meet up with Shi Jin even though today was "not comfortable" but at least I felt slightly better when I was all ready to get out. Shi Jin called in the morning to ask me for help so she wanted to meet up with me to discuss things. In fact, she had asked a favour from me a couple of weeks back and I promised her just like I promised Min. It was another graphic design favour. Ahhh... ahhh... -_-"

This one is slightly important because the design I'm going to help her with concerns her FYP. If it's not good... ahhhh.. I feel like I'm going to be held responsible to 6 person's FYP grades! I hope it's all good though... I felt the hybrid nature side of me is subsiding.

I had a little chat with her while she handed to me the required documents, transferring into my thumbdrive. Luckily I had remembered to format it otherwise all her documents are going to contain virus and I'll be held responsible to 6 person's FYP grades before I even helped out her favour! But I doubt the virus was that strong, at most, it was just a minor thumbdrive trojan. Heh.

Business management students really have an interesting FYP project but it's not my cup of tea. That's why I'd prefer to avoid it as far as possible but I wouldn't mind being part of it, I'd probably be stack with the advertising part only, including graphics and web.

Oh, today is the 1st of July already... Hmmmmmm... 1 more month of sweetness.

Ack, I was woken up in the morning by the sound of chainsaw outside my window. There were people cutting the tree branches opposite of our house. What a spoiler, I was having a pretty interesting dream... plus, every sleeping time is so precious to me right now. I'm left with just a couple of weeks of sweet enjoyment before the refresher course, orientation and then... the good ol' hard days once again.

I was practically watching "Yakitate Japan" for the whole afternoon and forgot about doing something important that I remember promising hubby I wouldn't forget but really, the crazy anime took my focus away! :p

Bread, still doesn't look that yummy to me no matter how delicious the anime showed and described but I was very hungry right after it. The protagonist's attitude was what attracted me though, something to add on and learn from if I want to make an interesting life for myself although I'm not facing the problem of baking but.. something hard and probably, boring. Here, am sharing a song to all tha dreamerz out there!

I emailed Forest Print that my payment been made but it's not bank transfer, I used pap's cheque to pay to their account. :/ I'm not so good with all these bank stuffs, so I began to wonder if I should have put down the Order ID as well as the company's name or something? Well, I forgot to write all those...

2 hours ago, they replied back to say that the payment has yet to clear into their bank account yet and should probably take around 3 business days. Well, if it's 3 business days, then I'll have to wait patiently for it to clear right? But, somehow, I don't feel comfortable about this. It's afterall, my first time getting stuffs online. Heh. Plus, without putting down the Order ID on the back of the cheque or other relevant details, I wonder if it will transfer properly? Will Forest Print knows that that extra money that went in is my order? :(

At least, I did told them that it was a cheque transfer though. How many people will do a cheque transfer right on this day, then? Well, I hope there isn't much though or hopefully not the same payment method like I did!

Just hope that the transfer goes well so they can finally send the stuff over! Oh my oh my... so worry now. Well, I guess it's also worth to experience such thing at least once in life. :p
Update: I just emailed them some more details, just in case.
